Why we built ExoCall
Across India, businesses lose customers every day for one simple reason: the phone rings and no one is free to answer it. Coaching institutes miss admission inquiries during peak season. Clinics miss appointment calls after hours. Real estate teams lose leads who call while an agent is on a site visit.
The AI calling tools that could solve this were almost all built for English-speaking, US-based companies — with no Hindi or regional language support, no Exotel integration, no WhatsApp, and per-minute pricing in dollars that made no sense at Indian call volumes.
So we built ExoCall: an AI voice agent that speaks 12 Indian languages, runs on the Exotel telephony Indian businesses already use, sends WhatsApp messages mid-call, and costs a flat monthly fee in rupees. It combines Google's Gemini Live AI for natural conversation with Exotel for reliable Indian telephony — and it goes live in minutes, with no engineer needed.
